Yes, her Russian accent and water-based jutsu makes it obvious enough that her origin is not of Hi no Kuni. Her identity was changed in an effort to erase her past. 'Fusako' was once a Kunoichi, from the Water Country: Mizu no Kuni. In her early years she was one of the Kiri no Shinobigatana Shichinin Shū, Seven Swordsmen of the Mist. Her large sword being made entirely of an unbreakable, ice named Hagane no Koori meaning 'Ice of Iron.' She earned the name 'Fubuki no Fusako' because of her ability to create a blizzard even in the middle of a desert. With the influence of both Kisame and Zabuza, Fusako eventually became a Nukenin as well. In the years that followed she seemed to disappear off the records, and when an assassination attempt was made on her, she made it to look like she truly died. In reality she changed her name and emerged in Hi no Kuni some time later, worked up the economic ladder and achieved becoming a high-ranked Jounin. Fusako's attempt to start anew, wipe the slate clean has so far succeeded but there is one man who knows the truth. Who is that one thorn in her skin that could tip the scales back to his side again.
